Community guidelines

A friendly place to meet the world stays friendly.

These rules apply to everyone on Wryders — in profiles, chats, calls, events and World Messages.

    Be yourself

    • Use your own photos and real details. No impersonation, fake profiles or catfishing.
    • One personal account per person. Businesses advertise through our partner programme, not personal profiles.

    Be respectful

    • No harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation — in messages, calls, events or World Messages.
    • No hate speech or attacks based on nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other identity.
    • “No” means no. If someone declines, stops replying or blocks you, do not contact them through other channels.

    Respect each mode

    • Friendship and language exchange are not dating. Do not send romantic or sexual messages to people who are not in dating mode.
    • Language partners are here to learn. Keep conversations helpful and patient.

    Keep it appropriate

    • No nudity or sexually explicit content in profiles, photos or public spaces.
    • Never send sexual content to anyone who has not clearly agreed to receive it.
    • No violent, graphic or shocking content.

    Adults only

    • You must be 18 or over to use Wryders.
    • Any sexual content involving minors is strictly forbidden. We remove it, ban the account and report it to the authorities.

    No scams, spam or selling

    • Never ask people for money, gifts, investments, bank details or passwords.
    • No spam, mass messages, links to other platforms for commercial gain, or promotion of products and services.
  7. 7

    Keep it legal

    • No illegal activity, drugs, weapons or the sale of regulated goods.
    • Do not share other people’s private information or photos without their permission.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on what happened, we may remove content, send a warning, restrict features, suspend an account temporarily or ban it permanently. Serious harm and illegal content are reported to the authorities. If you think we made a mistake about your account, you can appeal by writing to safety@wryders.com.
