Why we are building Wryders
The people you would get along with often speak another language.
Someone in Kochi and someone in Delhi can share a country, a sense of humour and a love of the same films — and still not share a first language. Across borders, the gap is even wider.
Wryders is one place for international friendship, language exchange, dating and city events, with translation built into every conversation. You can talk to anyone in your own language, or practise theirs.
We are starting in Istanbul and opening city by city.

Language is not a wall
Translation should help people connect, while making it easy to learn and practise for real.
Everyone chooses why they are here
Friendship, learning, love or a night out — each is valid, and none should be pushed on anyone.
Safety is not a premium feature
Blocking, reporting, verification and privacy controls are free for everyone, always.
Honest by default
Ads are labelled, translations are marked, and we will never invent numbers to look bigger than we are.
